New York Jets release four-part offseason documentary starring Zach Wilson


SALT LAKE CITY, Utah –The New York Jets have released a four-part offseason docuseries featuring the selection of former BYU quarterback Zach Wilson.

The Jets released their documentary on Monday, June 21.

The New York video production is titled “Flight 2021: An Offseason with the New York Jets”.

The documentary features the Jets’ hiring of head coach Robert Saleh and selections during the NFL Draft in April 2021, including Wilson with the second overall pick.

“The Jets offseason is taking off with the search for a new head coach,” the Jets described in episode one of the docuseries. “With 10 draft picks in the fold and significant salary cap space, the staff are embarking on a pivotal offseason under the leadership of third-year general manager Joe Douglas.”

Episode 1

The opening episode of the series provides a preview of the Jets’ offseason, including the hiring of Robert Saleh as New York’s head coach.


Episode 2

Part two of the series discussed Zach Wilson’s Pro Day at BYU. Wilson impressed New York coaches and executives and solidified what they saw of Wilson on tape.


Episode 3

The third part of the documentary details the 2021 NFL Draft.

“When you watch Zach play, he has this amazing arm talent,” Saleh said. “It just came off the recording.” Wilson’s assessment helped the Jets select him with the second overall pick.


Wilson made it an “easy decision” for the Jets.

Episode 4

The final episode features Wilson’s new teammates, who were also selected in the 2021 NFL Draft.
