Variety announced the cast for the sixth series of Black Mirror earlier this year, signaling the addition of new faces to the anthology series.
Zazie Beetz, Paapa Essiedu, Josh Hartnett, Danny Ramirez, Clara Rugaard, Auden Thornton and Anjana Vasan are also part of the new cast.
The Sun can now reveal Charlie Brooker’s global hit series has officially started filming in Rye.
A local captured video of Aaron Paul, who rose to fame in Breaking Bad, and said he was “having comedic banter with passers-by”.

In one video, the A-lister could be seen wearing 1950s clothing and an old-fashioned classic truck was parked on the street.
Charlie Brooker and Annabel Jones’ new production venture, Broke And Bones, landed in the popular tourist town on Monday to build the set for filming Wednesday and Thursday.
Speaking to a local, a Black Mirror producer said: “Rye is ideal for filming these period dramas – it’s like stepping back in time, before we even added the set, props and the signs.”
At least one scene in Black Mirror’s sixth series takes place in the fictional shop, Al’s Bait and Tackle, which can be seen in Rye’s photos.
Al’s Bait and Tackle is actually a real cafe called The Old Grain Store.
Another local shared: “Parking spaces were suspended and the film crew started clearing the road of anything that identified the place as an English town.
“We saw American road signs going up and crates of boxes and fishing nets being unloaded around the cafe opposite Mermaid Street.
“They made the cafe look like an angling store and turned the antique store into a bookstore. Everyone could see what was going on, it was very exciting. Then Aaron Paul and Kate Mara came in and we knew it was for Black Mirror.”
This is good news for fans as not much else is known about the highly anticipated series, which first hit screens in 2011.
They waited three years for news of the dystopian show to come back after writer and creator Brooker said he didn’t think Black Mirror would be appealing amid a global pandemic.
Miley Cyrus, Andrew Scott (AKA Fleabag’s Hot Priest), Michaela Cole and more starred in all three episodes of series five.
Fans were blown away by the show calling it “terrifying”, “beyond creepy” and even saying it kept them awake.
A release date for series six has yet to be announced, although it is believed to hit the streaming service early next year.
The Sun has contacted Netflix for comment.
